Cornflower's Story is one of a series of paintings that combines a flower with an abstract painting. In the process, I have become captivated by the history and stories of flowers.

These paintings (also on the abstracts page) will be shown at the Turchin Center for the Arts, Appalachian State University, Boone NC, Aug. 10 - Nov. 10, 2012. The public is invited to the opening reception Friday, September 7. www.turchincenter.org
